Small-town lawyers get to help people they know; Shawn loves this about his job.

Shawn grew up in very small northern towns, in one of them the only traffic control was one flashing yellow light.  He may be a good Canadian who likes the outdoors  but  he still isn't a fan of sub 40 below weather.  He does admit with a little prodding that one of the reasons he went to U Vic Law was because of the weather.

Outside of the office Shawn is a volunteer firefighter and has sat on numerous boards for not-for-profits.

Shawn's taste in music is universally despised by all staff; if he forgets to hit pause before your appointment feel free to tell him to turn it off.
